Instagram post 17906200903652921 BLUEBERRY🫐MAGIC 🪄MOCKTAIL
✨🫐✨
*Makes 1 serving*
RECIPE:
8 blueberries, plus more for garnish
1 sprig of fresh rosemary, leaves separated from stem, plus more stems for garnish
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce honey syrup
Mineral Water (Topochico)
•
In a cocktail shaker, combine blueberries, rosemary leaves and honey syrup (see recipe below). Muddle well.
Add lemon juice and ice. Shake well, until the ice has slightly broken up and the shaker lid is chilled.
Strain into your favorite glass and top with sparkling water. Garnish. *For a more filtered drink, pour over a fine mesh strainer!
•
The best part about this mocktail is that it can become a DELICIOUS cocktail 🍹 with the addition of gin or vodka!
•
** 🍯 Honey syrup - In a saucepan, over low-medium heat, combine ½ cup of honey and ½ cup of water. Warm, stirring frequently, until the honey and water are completely combined.

Instagram post 17855993498484563 This quote by Martin Luther King Jr. is one that I try to remind myself of everyday. It’s a small mantra I keep in my pocket to help me be a better person. But my small pocket mantra should be more. On this day that we recognize MLK and what he has done for our communities, I feel implored to do more everyday. This day is about acts of service to our communities. It’s not just one day- it is something I want to think about and ACT on everyday. In 2021, I want to do more for my communities and remember even more so that the time is always right to do what is right. 🕊

This week has been very stressful- personally speaking. Monday feels like it was 2 weeks ago. With the pandemic it can be difficult to find things that take you away from everyday life. Things like going to a movie, restaurants, a nail appointment or shopping 🛍 are not a thing right now. So you have to be resourceful and find creative ways to bring a little peace and happiness into your world 🌎!

Last week I ordered @yourpoppyflowers to be delivered to my house to make my own arrangement. Putting this fun little piece together was so enjoyable and relaxing for me! Typically I would love picking up flowers from around town but with everything being so bad in LA- I’m trying to stay home as much as I can. I loved that I could get high quality blooms right to my door! It was the perfect pick me up for the week!

Also, making my house feel like a pretty sanctuary has been important to me during the last 10 months. Flowers help make everything feel a little rosy and brighter!
•
Enjoy your Friday and cheers to making it here!
