Hey guys! I’m so glad you’re here. My journey in the kitchen has been full of flavors, moments, parties, joys and change. I started my cooking blog in 2019 as In Emily’s Kitchen with the intention of sharing recipes, cooking techniques and my love for being in the kitchen with people I love. Over the last 6 years it has evolved from a cooking blog, to incorporating my own line of spice blends, to an all encompassing business that included private chef work, party planning and floral designing to eventually opening up my own shop~ Emily Jilg Co. My Shop was the cutest and happiest little flower, gourmet and gift shop and was absolutely my baby until my real baby showed up. Posey Lu Jilg was born in March of 2024 and everything changed! Since then I have taken some time to reflect and somehow I always find myself and my heart back where I started: in my kitchen.

I’m excited for this new year and my new goals for Emily’s Kitchen. I can’t wait to share more recipes, cooking techniques, my favorite products and tools and all of the fun things happening in my kitchen.
